Macros for Rust — Recoil Control
Rust macros remove weapon recoil at the mouse driver level — no injection into the game process. EAC can't see the macro directly because it doesn't interact with Rust's memory. Compensation patterns are tuned per weapon: AK-47, LR-300, MP5, Thompson, M249.

Do macros get banned in Rust?
Risk is minimal. EAC doesn't see the macro — it doesn't modify game memory. Main threat is manual review after reports if the pattern is too perfect. We add randomization so compensation looks human.
Do macros work with any mouse?
Yes. Logitech, Razer, Bloody, A4Tech, SteelSeries, any other brand. The macro hooks into system input events, not the mouse manufacturer's software.
How are macros different from cheats?
A cheat injects into the game process and works with memory. A macro simply moves the mouse in a preset pattern — it has no idea what's happening inside Rust. Macros are cheaper and safer but only provide recoil control, no aimbot or ESP.
Does the macro update when recoil changes in a patch?
Yes. When Facepunch changes a weapon's recoil pattern, we update the macro. Updates are included in the subscription — download the new version and play.
